I briefly see the icon appear in the task bar then nothing, there's nothing running in the task manager
I've looked for new drivers but there's been no updates recently

its Windows 10 version 1803 installed on 16th May

Operating System:    Windows 10 Pro, 64-bit
    DirectX version:    12.0
    GPU processor:        Quadro 600
    Driver version:        377.83
    Direct3D API version:    11.2
    Direct3D feature level:    11_0
    CUDA Cores:        96
    Core clock:        640 MHz
    Shader clock:        1280 MHz
    Memory data rate:    1600 MHz

I use Windows 7, but I often have to allow for "user" in the security menue after new installing. I had to do this for every Visionaire upgrade. Maybe programs want to write into the folder and they can not.
It's more like Linux, you need permission for everything and everywhere ... wink

This computer only has one account and its the admin, I have noticed UAC has magically turned itself on so I've turned it off again and I'll reboot and see if that works smile

Found some issues in the visplayer:

    1. Sometimes a played sound is louder. I experienced it on an interface button where the mouse enter also plays a quiet "Whuubb" sound effect. Randomly this appears louder than it should.
See video: There seems to be a peak noise in second 6 while walking and also as mentioned inside a menu when only hovering the buttons (beggining in second 17 ownwards).

    2. The mouse sometimes stops randomly while moving, making it moving very jaggy. Cant really reproduce. But it seems not to be the mouse itself, but something in the game loop. When i go around with my character it looks also very laggy.
See video: second 13 where i move the mouse up for example and afterwards sometimes when moving from left to right.

    video here: https://cl.ly/sADO

The performance drop is really annoying. Not sure whats causing this but i need help for this. Something is telling me that these two issues are related somehow...

    3. While in the game inside the console i have several entries under "lua errors": which get more and more the more often i open the lua error page:

this is what appears also in the log, after i clicked on lua errors:

    4. (already since last version) The gamepad left click (hold + release) in the lua key event handler sometimes triggers wrong. It recognizes a left click (hold) for a release, making it impossible  to sometimes open a verb coin menu. The issue goes away (sometimes) after restarting the game.

    Kind regards
    Sebastian

I'm not sure it's been mentioned yet:
in the game settings the pop-up windows for the action text are displayed at the bottom of the screen - so low that not all entries are visible.
(I'm on a laptop with max resolution of 1280x800)

confirmed. It seems that it doesnt have anything to do with the resolution though (im on 1920x1080). The popup doesnt scroll with the main canvas. So opening the same dropdown when you are at the top of the page works fine. As soon as you scroll down, to see the rest, the dropdown popup doesnt have the updated position.

Just to let you know I solved my problem, I re installed the NVidia drivers  and they've replaced whatever MS had screwed up
I already had these drtivers installed hence why I thought they were ok obviously not lol

The recent windows 10 update messed up a lot of things for me too on my pc. Also had to reinstall my amd gpu drivers & a bunch of other stuff & go through settings on various apps again. I had to reinstall/re-download a bunch of games on Steam too as they were no longer installed. Windows for you, eh? At least they seem to have resolved the random crashing & freezing issues that came with the previous update.
