    Do you mean the link is for the 5 RC0 before the in-engine update push?  

    I hadn't tested adding scenes or building until after the in-engine download. 

    I have also not recieved an update push since I downloaded- so maybe the update is being retooled. 

    I am seeing relevant file open dialogs, but I may be missing something here...

    But I can build!!! wink

    for me it says its 5.0.0 build 1188 on the "About" page, its the version that auto downloaded 3 days ago

    It appears to work fine, however I'm on windows

    yep, that version. But for macOS and right now im on the free version. But as fulviov mentioned hhe has the problems, too with the paid version.

    I am running 5.0.0 Build 1188 w/ ShaderToolkit vers 0.95 on Macbook Pro (Retina, mid 2012) OS 10.12.4.  Able to dev and build for the most part.  The only glaring issues that I have experienced have been:

    The editor and player seem to be running "hot" sorry- this is hard for me to pinpoint exactly- as both memory and CPU levels seem to be similar to 4.2.5.  However, Apple's Activity Monitor has an "Energy" section within which, 5 runs about 2-3 times higher than 4.2.5- whatever that means.  Maybe an issue with the Nvidia card? (NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M 1024 MB)

    Zooming seems to cause crashes in the scene editor.  Not all the time- I think I may have been pressing ctrl + cmd + scroll when this occured.  

    My game is always pushing the engine to work hard, and I just cobbled together a build for LD- so it is bug ridden.  (I'll post a link in the blog.)  But, I have been experiencing a crash after 7 minutes on Mac that my Windows machine doesn't replicate.  Same experience with the test build of the game.  Wondering if it's finally time to update?  Probably pushing it at 5 years old.

    Otherwise, the new GUI is awesome- so much faster to work with.  Looking forward!

    hej there,

    i'm experiencing the same problem. mac user of the free version. can't upload or update png-files in certain menus. these include: cursors, text-pngs and animation frames. will there be a fix? can't access my save-file with an older version —

    really like the particle function. will it be possible to control the parameters more accurately?



    i was also wondering if you will be tackling this issue in the new version:
    Hey, did you find a workaround/solution on that issue? I bumped onto something similar (on 4.2.5 that I'm running):

    I have a few scene objects with a couple of animations each. There is no (default) image set for those objects, but I've selected one of the animations as default. While initially the parallax (scroll factor) works fine, if for some reason I decide to swap the animation(with a play/hide animation action part) I lose their position. Moving around, also does't exhibit any parallax effect.

    Seems to me it's got to do with some animation+scroll factor weirdness - is there a chance that @ke4's characters in the foreground had animation and @sebastian's didn't?

    I discovered a new big issue. Its reproducable but i don't know why this is occouring.

    I have several interfaces. But when i open one specific one (custom interface class - like the others), the editor crashes as soon as i select the object polygon button at the top.

    No hints in the log file of the editor.

    This is the crash report from macOS:

    EDIT: fixed ... it was a corruped object (polygon) which crashed the editor but was still playable and working in the VS Player

    By the way: I found this getDisplayModes() function in your recently posted luadocs. Is it implemented yet? I get no output from this... (nil value , on macOS)

    EDIT: system.getDisplayModes() returns me that table. yiisss

    EDIT2: it seems that the keys are the resolution in the values are the id in that table. By that i cant use "ipairs" because the keys are not numeric...:

    {"1920x1080"=1,...} instead of {1=“1920x1080”,…} it could happen that these resolutions are not in order to their size

    EDIT3: Nevermind, wrote a function which sorts them smile 
    (*caugh caugh* stackoverflow *caugh caugh*)

    These problems have been resolved:
    - crash if copying action parts
    - crash if importing team files
    - double click not working
    - mac file open dialog
