    I found the problem. It's something to do with solid color. If i add a brushstroke of another color, it fixes the problem. If i fill it back to solid color - it starts to behave as multiply blending.

    Update: i wanted to "cheat" this solid color problem. Color of solid filled rectangle background is "2b2227". So i changed one pixel color to a very similar color "2b2226", but it still doesn't behave correctly. So apparently it's not just solid fill, but something with overall color uniformity in image. No easy solution, if you want to use solid color (or almost solid) images with alpha.

    yeah...there is definitely something crazy going on ^^

    PS: Tried to do it via object visibility. Sadly this doesn't work on interface buttons because they don't have a visibility field

    Es gibt ein Problem mit halbtransparenten, einfarbigen png (ggf. auf webp) Dateien, die auf gleichfarbigen Hintergründen platziert werden. Normalerweise sollte das halbtransparente Bild mit dem gleichen Farbwert ja "nicht sichtbar" sein bzw. falls etwas zwichen Hintergrund und Objekt liegt dieses blasser durchschimmern lassen. Die Engine scheint die Farbwerte zu multiplizieren und nicht normal zu behandeln und daher erscheint das halbtransperente Bild dunkler als es ist...
    Sobald aber ein Pixel dieses transparenten Bildes. mit einer anderen (0% Alpha) Farbe eingedeckt wird, scheint der Effekt beseitigt (bei Windows). Bei Mac sehe ich hier noch einen leichten Unterschied in den Farbwerten.

    An interesting statistics you have here!
    home / pos1 key toggles the stats overlay when running game via the VS editor. Quite useful if you want to check out how much system resources are being used & by what more or less in real time.

    I highly recommend checking out an application called SnakeTail - if you are working on a windows pc - as you can link the messages & viseditor log files to it & view log messages as they get added - works best if you have a multiple monitor setup or test in window mode if you don't.

    Wenn ich mir das Bild als eingefärbte, halbtransparente Glasscheibe vorstelle, kommt mir das aber logisch vor...

    I found another thing which is really funny with the Editor.
    When opening a project via its project file directly, i get strange blue outlines in the editor for each element:
