Is there a fee for upgrading?

yes because it's a .0 edition. 3.0-3.9. once you purchase limited license for 4.0 you will get all updates between 4.0 & 4.9 for free.

I sure hope the license will be in the same range as the old version. At least somewhere.

it is a bit of a bargain right now, perhaps there'll be a sale on first release although certainly hope it keeps its low cost - but I think we all would say that!

'Experimental support' for mobile worries me a little, though... guess we'll all be beta'ing for a while then!

Really hoping the iOS stuff works out. Adventure games are perfect for tablets and phones because of all the gestural taps and swipes. It leads to a lot of different fun puzzle options. I'm really hoping to make my next project for ipad because of that. Unfortunately, I'm really not a programmer, which is why I'm looking forward to the new visionaire release over something like unity.

I know what you mean, I'm developing for multi platform and currently using Unity after starting in Visionaire as I'm no code monkey (using plug in for Unity) but really hoping I can come back to Visionaire - guess we'll see in a week or so!

Any details on how the iOS - Support is going to work? Does VS export some Objective C-Code that has to be complied through Xcode?
