I'm not very savvy on chess. I can play checkers. Chess is a bit too complicated & long winded for me. I lack the patience for it.

Anyway, have you tried using bing translator? I find it works a little better than google translator. The online translator tend to translate words rather than sentences, which is why the grammar & structure is often a little off. For some reason a lot of languages have words in a different order than what we would have it in in English. Spanish for example often has words tacked onto the end of a sentence, whereas in English we would probably say those same words at the beginning of the sentence & then as you said, there's the feminine, masculine, neutral thing that other languages have. English is a whole other beast compared to other languages because we have so many different words that mean the same thing or something entirely different depending on the context in which the words are used. We also have strange ways of spelling words, with quite a few words containing silent letters or being said completely differently from how they are spelled.

Yeah, you are right about English and other languages! The google translator is useful to translate into or from English (more or less), but into or from French (f.e.) it drives me to despair. That's why - of course - the programmers are English men.

    OK, I will try bing.

Chess was only an example because of the simple game rules. Chess is predestinated to play against an AI. But AI in games gets more and more better.
