Is the added gamecontroller support also valid for regular keyboard controls for movement, etc?

Yep, I'll write some scripts once the update is here.

I have heard about a new editor in some threads. Are there already some informations about that? What are the advantages compared to the old editor?

General idea will be something that allows a faster work-flow, looks more modern & consistent across the various platforms the editor gets built for, as well as something that is less buggy & limiting compared to WxWidgets which VS is currently built around. All in all... hopefully it will be faster & more intuitive to use than the current editor / GUI.

It's going to be a major update. I can't wait! If the workflow is really faster, then it will simply change my life.
I'd love to be in the beta test!

I hope the new one works! The last "little" GUI change from 4 beta to 4.0 final was a big disaster to me... Please can you show the necessary specifications my system must have for this, like some openGL specifications or shaders or libraries or environments..?
So I have to decide: buying Vis immediately or never... ;-)
