Opinions on potential periodic competition idea...

I've not been reading the thread, I'm a bit too busy, sorry. But the idea of a Visionaire competition sounds good. However you shouldn't keep it private to the VS site/forums/community. Opening the competition to as many people as possible is a good way to get some exposure (and sell the engine).
There are already a lot of Jams every month, like the Myst Game Jam I made in January. Just go on itch.io and create a Visionaire Jam: invite people to create a game with your soft in 2 weeks, tweet and tell them that there are prizes and they'll come for sure.

Yeah mate, I was discussing about making it more open with Thomas earlier which is why I asked him if we could have an option for giving out license key as optional prize for people that aren't using a licensed version of VS.

    Thanks for the itch.io suggestion.

    Bump!

P.S: The prize list is coming along quite nicely too & I'm sure there will be more added before too long. Plenty of time left. Here's what I've added to the prize list so far. It's a collection of keys given to me by various developers & keys - to be redeemed - I've gotten via bundles (humble, bundle stars, groupees, etc)

P.P.S: I've still got a few other people / devs to hit up, so hopefully we'll have some other nice additions on that list. I would have thought the sin bin section would have been easy to fill up, but it seems most games are valued over €5, even shitty mobile / facebook style arcade games.
