General volume strangely low

Hi, I recently started to implement speech files into my game and I noticed one thing: the volume of the audio files is decreased when played inside the game, even though I've already set the general volume to 100% (I tried to do it both using lua or via action part).

Has anyone else experienced this issue?

I was wondering if you think there could be a solution to this situation, because right now my only way out seems to edit all the speech files increasing their volume.

general volume? you mean the master speech volume or the global volume or both or the volume of the speech file?

Have you checked the volume mixer of windows to make sure the game isn't playing at a lower volume than the global volume value you have set on windows?

I'm using Visionaire 5.0.6 and yes, the audio is quieter in the editor as well!

I tried to increase both the master speech volume and the global volume, but they're already set to 100%.

Following your suggestion I also checked the volume mixer of windows, but Visionaire is playing at 100% volume!

Maybe it's to do with the codecs & which program you used to export or convert the sounds.

I am also seeing the same issue, if I play an ogg file through visionaire compared to audacity.
