Nice one mate. Just added it to your section of the tutorial page of the wiki. wink

Will watch it later on, or the morrow.

P.S: there are now 19 tutorial videos available, at this moment. grin

Excellent!... It seems to be paying off, loads of views on you-tube as has Redspark.

Hopefully this means more and more VS users for you and and the guys, and less and less questions to answer on the forums razz

My demo game submission is coming on OK, I'm not going to get half the polish I'd hoped for on it, but fingers crossed I get it at least finished before the 31st.

I should have another one coming soon to round it up to 20. smile

I've also cross linked my Youtube page with yours, Andi, by placing your tutorial's playlist on my page. And I have been promoting the tutorials through my Google Plus and Facebook accounts. There has been positive responses to both the tutorials and Visionaire. smile

BTW... I like how you talk about your workflow and artwork creation. You have a lot of great suggestions for making life easier in putting the game together.

Great news! I look forward to your next one

I'll add a cross link to yours from mine too to further stimulate the community to use both resources.

Thanks for the feedback, I tend to ramble a lot about my workflow, but am glad someone finds it useful. smile

I guess you must have to spend a long time planning your videos for them to be so focussed.
Do you write a plan first of what you are going to cover and practice it all before recording? or do you end up having to edit a load of stuff out? I'm definitely in the hit record and start rambling school smile

    One word: British! grin

Most of us tend to ramble, waffle on, shoot the breeze (whatever the hell that's supposed to mean) & so on, & so on, & so on...

Indeed, I am king of the ramblers..a very british pastime smile

I used to be a university tutor and got used to doing "follow me" tutorials as a way of stimulating my memory of how things are done..... also known as winging it!

There's nothing quite like trying to remember how you do something whilst a classroom of people look eagerly on. grin

Yeah, I have a document that I literally script my openings word for word and I have my steps outlined so that if I forget something I can look over at my second monitor and find what I'm suppose to do next. wink I'll practise the script a couple of times before recording. I may take a 2 or 3 attempts at recording before I get it so that there are only a few errors and then I edit them out as best that I can. smile This is why I only do short videos. I would forget what to do, if the video took too long. lol. smile

Is it possible to upload your videos in better qualitiy? 360p is to low for a video of a fullscreen application. It is impossible to read the GUI elements or typed texts or inputed numbers....
