You need to check that nothing is cached.

The first click is sometimes caught by the browser, also one click is needed before the sound is played.

I am however being met with the issue of the online version of my game never getting passed the introductory logo - no matter the tips I'm seeing in here.

Am I overseeing something obvious...?

Yay, the saving works again on Mac (after having made over 250 consecutive files ).
I just ran into another problem: it seems that I can't be scrolling within in a zoomed-in scene and interface in the editor. This makes pixel-perfect placing of objects a bit difficult. But it really is nothing life-changing, so this can be done whenever. Just wanted to note it here.

The scrolling works only inside the boundaries, if you use CTRL+Click to move or middle mouse button you can move around freely.
