Visionaire Studio on Mac always at ~50% CPU

Hi, I was wondering why Visionaire studio on Mac is always using a lot of CPU even when it's basically doing nothing?
Here is what's going on on my machine:

It is always at around 50% CPU, making my fans spin like crazy.
    Anybody else experiencing this?

Nope, not for me (Vis 4.1 ; OSX 10.9.5).

What is your Visionaire Editor version ?
What is you Mac OS version ?
Is it the same for every project that you open ?

P.S. : Just a general tip, try to repair the disk permissions once a month at least.

    Visionaire 4.1 (1178)
    OSX 10.10.2
This is the first project I work on with Visionaire, so I am not sure if it does this with others as well.

Here I can see a cpu usage of 10 .... 20 % if Visionaire is idle. This is much for an unused program in the background.

    Software OS X 10.9.5
Prozessor 2,53 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
    Speicher 8 GB 1067 MHz DDR3
Grafikkarte NVIDIA GeForce 9400M 256 MB

Yeah, when totally idle and not in focus it stays at 10 - 20% here as well. As soon as I start working with it, it rises up pretty quickly and reaches up to 50%.

Btw: I'm running Visionaire on a Macbook Air with a 2 GHz Intel Core i7, 8GB Ram, Intel HD Graphics 4000 1024 MB.

Mine runs around 0 to 1% on my iMac when at rest and about 5% when in the foreground.

    I'm running 10.10.2 and Visionaire 4.1 (1178).
    iMac Late 2012.
Processor 2.7 GHz Intel Core i5
    16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3
NVidia GeForce GT 640M 512 MB
