video on object

Hi there,

I inserted the mkv video file under the action part "play video on object", but wenn I start the game, nothing happens. I configured this action as start-action at the beginning of the game.

It's a vide with a cloud with transparent background, moving from right to left.

What am I doing wrong?

You mean via the object video plugin? Anyway, you may need to add the pause action part with a small pause value of let's say 50ms upwards as the first action part because certain things don't always get executed immediately as soon as you change to the scene as they require the scene to finish loading first.

The movie plugin is currently not working. Use components on the upper right instead.

Ok, I added a pause with 500ms first, but the same thing. video is not playing. Yes, I'm using the video on object plugin (16.11.2018, v1.3).

Ok I have absolutely no clue how wo work with "components". Is this for adding actions?

It's on the scenes tab in ther upper right.

Danke Simon, habs gefunden! Ist es denn geplant, dass das Plugin wieder laufen wird, oder wird es durch die Komponenten abgelöst?

Aktuell war ich an den Plugins noch gar nicht dran. Aber da müssen definitiv noch Updates erfolgen. Aber das gilt ja für vieles.
