The site acts like a schizophrenic

You guys seriously need to fix the mechanics of your website. You get two entirely different layouts when you go, say, here

depending on whether you're logged in or not. Basically there are two different versions of the site. This is horrifying. I'm a skilled Internet user, and for a while I was just lost. I couldn't understand where the old site went and why, and how to get it back. The language switching randomly from English into German also doesn't help.

Same here. But nothing serious, imo.

I'm completely there with you, but you know when we talk about that, "It's been like that for years and it works"...

that's why I'm usually logged out when I'm on the site, until I'm writing a post of course not the perfect solution though... I hope the navigation/layout issues will be addressed soon (or at least some day ).

I use firefox for when I'm logged in & chrome for logged out. & yeah, some dropdown navigation for the menu could easily sort it out, methinks?
