Looking for Game Advisor!

Hi there,

We are working at remaking our game BeetleQuest, and we are looking for someone who can give us advice on adventure games and point & click mechanics in general.

We got a bit of criticism for lacking certain adventure game features when we first launched our game, and with our remake, we want to be fully prepared!

The new demo is almost ready, and we can send that to you for your critical review!

You will be added to the credits, and we can pay you a small fee.

That sounds like a fun title, but I believe you meant a game designer, as they are the ones that come up with the mechanics & puzzle designs & how everything fits together.

Anyway, you might want to try asking on our Discord server too as people are a lot more active on there, compared to here.

Someone with a good knowledge of adventure games and what works or not. Based on the advice of such a person, I can change the existing puzzles and mechanics, or add new ones.

But a co-designer could be something too, of course, I'd have to think about that.

I think I mentioned before when I help test the game, the walk areas needed work and clicking stuff multiple times was a bit confusing.
I want to say a verb disc might be better, but then again the target audience is quite young... but then again a 5 year old is probably more tech savvy than me!
Maybe right click commands, look, use, talk.
Quality control is key! I'm not much of an advisor, but get people to test the game that will tell you the truth
