How to create an inventory button?

Hi there. I am new to Visonaire but love it already. The video tutorials from Andi are aweosme, but there is one pretty essesntial step that was left out that i was hoping to learn in more detail.

I am looking to make a button of a bag or satchel that when clicked opens menu of items to select from. I tried to copy what was done in the same apps , but could not reproduce in my own project. Are there any nice walk-thrus out there for this?
