How can I display text / chat / subtitles at the bottom of the screen?

Would love a slice of cheese, thanks!

Trying to do your option 2 as that makes sense to me: basically turn on the interface when text appears, turn off after. It's a bit of a pain but soon it'll just be a copy/paste job.

    Thanks again!

It's the safer / better option as the automatic method could have the background blipping on & off the screen like the blinking red light of death during a reactor core meltdown. - some strong imagery going on in this thread, no?

Beware.... beware the blinking red light of death due to core meltdowwwwwwnnn...

Strong imagery is the order of the day.
