Help with images

hello everyone wink first of all sorry if I express myself badly but I use a translator, I bought visionaire studio and I would like to know if it was possible to display the images in succession as in renpy by using images in jpeg format, for example my first event contains 57 images in jpeg format, in renpy I simply use the function "scene 1" to display my scene and then "scene 2" etc...
I would also like to point out that in my previous post I couldn't repost a message

VS accepts PNG & WebP formats only. I highly recommend using webp because it's much better for optimization due to the much smaller file size - even when using webp lossless format.

Visionaire doesn't really work like Ren'Py, it's more of a visual IDE. Are you talking about animations? Could you please provide more information, or links to examples of what you are trying to do? I know what Ren'Py is, but it's not something I have ever actual used myself - about all I know about it, due to a previous client that used it for a game - is that it uses some kind of action script for creating games instead of an actual visual editor.

thank you for your answer wink I couldn't answer you on my previous post but thank you it helped me wink
I'd like to display these images for example without having to use a background + png characters on top of them

edit : for example on the first picture the character speaks, at the end of the sentence it goes to the second picture, the character speaks again and at the end it goes to the third picture.

Don't you have access to the original files? I've got to be honest using solid images only is not very good in terms of optimization. Visionaire is best approached like photoshop/illustrator, etc. with layers.

But no worries... I believe I've mocked up a quick example of what you were asking for, so here you go. wink

I used a value that I linked to each of the scene objects containing the images. I adjusted the values number to determine which image to show. It's kind of crude, but it's simple enough & it works.

The action parts are inside of the actions tab above the scene object list.

yes I'm the creator, I have access to everything, I only use solid images for events, I have more than 600 images to process, for postwork etc... it's much easier for me to use them like that.
thanks for your link I downloaded it but I'll check it tomorrow, I'm going to bed wink thank you very much for your help and have a good night wink

It's fine if they are static images like that, but if you wanted to create an actual animation with x amount of frames with a width/height of 1920x1080, then I'm afraid your game would require a semi-decent pc to run smoothly - especially if you use png file format.

Your original jpg files are about 250KB each. Converted to webp they are about 500KB each (lossy 100% quality),  & converted to png they are about 1.5MB each - but it all depends on the amount of details in each image.

By process I'm guessing you are talking about from whatever 3D graphics/animation program you are using?

I'm not sure I understand and I don't know if what I'm saying is correctly translated but by "process" I mean all the work to be done on these images with gimp
then I don't understand why jpeg is not accepted?
I made my start menu with a jpeg image in background and it doesn't seem to be a problem

Sometimes there's issues with them in VS. PNG & WebP are the recommended formats. That's about all I can tell you.

Well, I guess you should thank yourself lucky that it doesn't appear to be a traditional third person point & click adventure game you are working on, as those typically contain 1000's upon 1000's of animation frames & static images.

In the regards to the images, they look like they were created with a 3D graphics program, so yeah I'm not really following. Did you make the original graphics in a 3D program or are they stock images/models you have found online & are now touching up/editing in Gimp?

I create everything myself with blender and daz and gimp
