Help with dialogue area

    Hey guys,

I'm a complete newbie to Visionaire so any help would be really appreciated...

I'd like to create a dialogue with a NPC so that whenever the NPC answers back I will see his own dialogue area graphics, similar to what I see with the playabale character, when the graphic pops up when I perform the dialogue action.

So basically, when my character starts the dialogue with the NPC - I have a close up image of his face pop up in the dialogue area. and when the NPC answers back I only see the text above him, and not in its own dialogue area with his close up image.

    Any ideas?

    Many many thanks!

This is where the hook functions for text started & stopped come in.

I've not the time to provide working examples at the minute, but there are loads of examples on the forum already scattered throughout various threads. Don't expect me to remember which ones though as my memory for such things is terrible! wink

Thanks so much for the quick reply!

That's great. I'll definitely check it out. Just have to learn how to script first wink That's a whole different story

there is a "trick" to have a dialogue between 2 npc.
and is the "switch to character". An npc should become the main character, and at the end of the dialogue you can switch to your protagonist
