Help choosing graphics for leisure suit larry game type

    Hello everybody, i am starting an adventure game in the style of leisure suit larry but in first person, and i wanted to know opinion of fellow adventure gamers to make sure ill follow the best choice for character art, bellow theres 10 different exemples, please wich one you think it suits better?

    Nice work :-)
    I personally like sixth background picture the most because i don't like black outlines in this kind of artwork.

    It's not that easy with those characters, but i would prefer probably 3 or 4.

    Still got a lot of work, about 20 characters and about 15 backgrounds :-(

    Yeah i know that grin

    One thing i noticed, you could maybe use a bit stronger shadows on some places to get bigger contrast & thus achieve a better sense of depth.

    I mean - you have stronger shadow in the inner part of the door, but the closet seems to be colored just by one color.

    I understand what you mean and ur right, gonna do some changes, and also the point of view seems a little strange for a 1st person view right?

    To be honest i think i've never played 1st person adventure game, but it seems ok :-)

    Nice work. For me the best combination is Character 4 and background 4.
