Creepslore, a 2.5D satirical adventure visual novel hybrid

Creepslore is basically the lovechild of Ferris Bueller's Day off and Final Fantasy, an 'rpg' without a battle system, a comical take on genres and the industry, a heartfelt story, our plan for world domination, a fuel for anger, and other related / unrelated keywords that alcohol made us forget.

18 locations, 80+ characters, cool art (atleast we think so), backgrounds rendered in the original Quake engine, 5 different scenarios, tongue-in-cheek humor, and a long list of SEO keywords that will put us up to the front of your next google search.

Unless you're looking for ****hub. Sorry to disturb you then.

In CREEPSLORE you play as a character who gets suckered into an adventure after applying for work somewhere in the Atlantic Ocean. After realizing he answered to a fake ad, and there’s neither beautiful women nor men around, he now has to deal with a bunch of intoxicated and ugly monsters with idiosyncratic tendencies (ergo: they’re also stupid). However, what starts out as sheer annoyance on his part, slowly changes into acceptance, and an understanding that humans might be the worse creatures after all.

The trailer made me think it was going to be an FMV game. Shame as FMV is quite possible to do in VS now seeing as we have support for inserting videos as objects into scenes.

Nevertheless, interesting graphic style either way. Good luck with your game & happy developing. wink
