    Hello,

I used Visionaire Studio in the past (V2) and I'm actualy think about buy the last version.

I saw on the wiki that there is the possibility to port games on Nintendo Switch, Xbox One and PS4 : https://wiki.visionaire-tracker.net/wiki/Main_Page

On the Licences page I only see " you can compile games for Windows, Mac OS X, Linux, iOS and Android".

Do you have informations about that ?

I would like to work on an adventure game and I would like to have the possibility to port it on Nintendo Switch

    A'llo,

To be able to export for Xbox, Playstation, & Switch you need to acquire the dev kits for each of the platforms first (do a bit of googling for them or ask Simon about them) & then you need to speak to Simon. I would recommend getting in touch with him on our Discord server @ https://discord.gg/g5zFejW.

Anyway, by default all licenses will let you export for Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS, Android, & HTML5 - though there are some limitations in regards to exporting for mobile & HTML5 as you aren't allowed to release commercial (monetized) games for mobile platforms or HTML5 with the indie licenses, but you can release freeware & adbased games for those platforms with the indie licenses.

Also the editor has changed a lot since V2 & is also now available for Windows, macOS, & Linux.

    Thank you,

I will not release a game now, so I will see later for the dev kit but I just wanted to be sure that it's possible to release a game on Nintendo Switch.

I don't want to start a projetc on Visionnaire and have the bad surprise to see that I can't port it to Nintendo Switch when it's finished.

I saw that there is many changes on the editor. That's seems to be good and I apreciate that there is a Linux version because I don't use Windows anymore :-)

I don't know the specific steps involved in releasing a game for switch, but a few vs users have already ported their games for nintendo switch - they were discussing it recently on our discord server.

I don't know if there's any limitations in the hardware/specs of switch if that's your main target, so you might need to do a bit of research to figure out the best default game resolution to use & the sort of scope in size your game can be. I don't own one so I'm not familiar with what's possible.
