CGianelloni - Looking for developer/coder for a successfully Kickstarted project!

    Hey,

I'm currently working on an adventure game that I got kickstarted last year. It's called Reincarnation: The Root of All Evil. Chapter 1 is ready to be made, but my coding skills are lacking the need for this game. I was trying to put it together myself using Visionaire without any luck, and I'd rather spend my time focusing on the art work.

If you would be interested in helping ro-bono till the game is released, we could work out a percentage type payment system.

to get a better response, it would help if you clarify exactly - or at least, more or less - what will be involved... features, puzzles, things that you want that might not be achievable with the editor alone etc.

anyway going from the artwork alone, it looks like it will be quite a wacky game smile

& here's the link to the kickstarter project (for the lazy people who can't be bothered searching) wink

    Good call, AFRLme.

The game will feature four chapters. As of right now there are a total of 65+ backgrounds/scenes planned for the game. The game will feature a interface similar to MI3, bu there will be some new features in the main interface.

From what I've seen, it looks like visionaire could do the job of the game. The only issue would be porting to different devices. We were originally going to use a engine by the name of Haxe, but my coder had to put the game aside for to long. I'd rather get the project moving again.

Thanks for posting the link. Can't believe I forgot that!

iOS target port for the engine is currently in development...
the plan is (far as I'm aware - currently) to add cross-platform support to VS, amongst other things for the next release, which should (hopefully) be ready sometime this year.

By cross-platform I mean: windows, apple mac, linux, iOS & android.

I've not heard of that Haxe engine before (I do have bad memory though) so will look it up the morrow wink

*edit: http://haxe.org/ ? yeah not heard of it before.

Yep. That's it. Really great at cross-platform, but VS seems great at adventure games.

P.S: I would change the title of your first post to "Looking for developer/coder for a successfully Kickstarted project!"

coder on it's own makes it sound like you are only wanting someone for Lua scripting ...
probably plenty of people on here could help with putting the game together but there's not so many of us on here who use Lua script - far as I know.

Chris, are you sorted now with this? Or do you still need help getting the project completed?

Hey Chris, thought I'd throw in here - do you still need help? Will be cracking on with my own KS campaign soon, would be happy to assist for a little KS support!
