Built game quits directly when played on other computers?

    Is this something that's common?

It's like everything starts fine for two seconds, and then it shuts down. Like its critical the first seconds. Then, if it starts, it works fine. But I wonder if there's something I can do about it, if it's a known glitch or something.

I'm showcasing my game tomorrow at an exhibition, and now it might even execute the game on other computers. So, I guess I kinda need urgent help. O_o

Does it generate a dmp (dump file), if so then you should send it to David. Or are any errors listed in either of the 2 log files?

It could be a memory allocation problem, e.g. too many (large) animations, large project file, etc. which use too much memory.
do you use 3.7 or 4.0? if it's 3.7 then you should definitely upgrade to 4.0 which has much better performance.

you could also try to set the resolution setting to Desktop in the config.ini file.

We sort of fixed it last night Alex wink

The way he exported it & an old save file I think.

He was using 3.7.1 because he was on a deadline & didn't have time trying to make it all work correctly with 4.0.

He's showcasing it at some French museum or something. You will have to ask Simon, if he would be willing to share a build of what he's got so far. It's more of a technical demo, than a game at this point I think. He still has a lot of stuff to build out of card & paper.

Here's a teaser scene & music piece, he added to his his website: http://saintandsimon.com
