Is there a way to configure the android export to create an APK that will install with my own game name and icon?
    Instead of 'Visionarie Player'?

Can't you just rename the visionaire player file? I'm not sure about icons in regards to android, but for windows .exe files it's possible to replace the icon & update an .exe's embedded information using a tool like resource hacker.

I attempted this with APK Icon editor and it corrupted the apk.
But, as there's not a way of doing it within VS, i will hack the apk file.
    Thanks.

No, not in the current version. I don't know if the devs plan on adding support later on for embedding custom icons or not.

I know it's possible to change the window title with a line of Lua script. Also according to the SDL2 documentation there is parameters for changing the displayed window icon (while game is running), but it's not implemented into the source code or as a Lua function as far as I'm aware.

I really don't know anything much about how android stuff works as I've not got any devices for testing on.

APK editor (Android App) allowed me to change the name and all icons and it resigned the game. Works perfectly.
