[SOLVED] Particlesystem behind an object?

    does anyone know if there s a possiblity to let a particlesystem appear behind an object?

    just assigned the particlesystem to a dummyobject behind the object.

    hmm ...
    I don't see any difference really ...

    both are to do with the z.index (object center/layer order) are they not?

    if you want to have the person walk behind the particle you have to assign the particlesystem to an object and use object center as usual. but its stays infront of the object itself.
    if i want to have the particlesystem behind an object i have to use the layer order thats true and thatfore i need a dummyobject "behind" the object. to the dummyobject i assign the particlesystem.
