About the game

Daedalic Entertainment retells Ken Follett's world bestseller The Pillars of the Earth and lets players shape events themselves. In the small town of Kingsbridge, the monk Philip becomes prior of the abbey, Jack, raised in the woods, becomes a stonemason and grows into a gifted master builder, and the disgraced noblewoman Aliena fights for her place. Together they begin building one of the greatest cathedrals England will ever see, in a time of poverty, war and conspiracy. Exploration, decisions and dialogue can change events from the novel. The story spans more than 30 years, was released in 2017 for Windows, macOS and Linux and was made with Visionaire Studio.
