Sin, death, judgement, heaven and hell as an absurd comedy: an adventure built from Renaissance paintings.
Joe Richardson assembled his adventure from Renaissance paintings and public domain recordings of classical music. Works by Hieronymus Bosch, Pieter Bruegel and other old masters become the backdrop for a story about sin and the Four Last Things: death, judgement, heaven and hell. The humour owes a lot to Monty Python and aims to be clever and utterly silly in equal measure. Controls are classic, with a verb coin and an inventory from which items are dragged and dropped. The game was released in 2017 for Windows and was made with Visionaire Studio.
Four Last Things was made with Visionaire Studio, the engine for point and click adventures without programming skills. You can publish your own game commercially too, with the right Visionaire license.
