Rufus wants out of the junk planet Deponia. When the beautiful Goal falls from the floating city of Elysium, he sees his big chance.
Deponia is one giant garbage dump, and Rufus has had enough of it. His attempts to escape the village of Kuvaq reliably end in chaos. Then Goal literally drops at his feet, a young woman from Elysium, the floating city of the rich. Rufus falls for her on the spot and finally sees a way up. Daedalic Entertainment tells the story as a sharp comedy in hand drawn art, full of odd characters, absurd contraptions and classic inventory puzzles. The first part of the Deponia trilogy was released in 2012 for Windows, macOS and Linux and is one of the best known adventures made with Visionaire Studio.
Deponia was made with Visionaire Studio, the engine for point and click adventures without programming skills. You can publish your own game commercially too, with the right Visionaire license.
