I think Thomas meant to give it a more unique thread title like a sentence containing the name of your game or project name etc, as opposed to a generic name like: work in progress.

    Update,

unfortunately creating this game takes still longer and longer. We are still doing 2 chapter of 7 after almost 9 moths of work. Ahh sometimes it goes well but sometimes it takes ages. Especially to paint backgrounds, that's my part on this game. It's kinda exhaustive how it takes still longer, but hope it will be worth it.
Here is one short timelapse of one of backgrounds if you are interested. It's all vector - Flash.

Interesting. I don't think you mentioned the actual time it took from beginning to end to create the scene?

P.S: Using the objects as reference or for drawing over was a nice idea. That's about the only way I can draw things in photoshop. I'm not so good when it comes to trying to do something straight from my imagination, but I lack the patience to work so long on a piece of artwork, which is why I would always prefer to deal with other sides of game development such as programming, development, structure, brainstorming & troubleshooting, etc, as opposed to spending hours, days or weeks on a single background image.

This one took about 8.2 hours in three days.i guess that patience is one of my biggest advantages. I actually do all the things you mentioned, we are doing everything in 2 people, my friend is doing all animations and cut-scenes.
I sometimes miss some more complex brushes or something in flash, but i really love vector i can't do a thing in photoshop.
Btw i was looking at some pictures during the painting, it's not all from my head. But i always need think for a while about the scene before i can actually beggin, and then, sometimes i'm not in a mood, or i'm tired, there are other things to do and in the end it's really time-consuming. And i would love to see the game finished soon..

I believe that would be where you could consider episodic content. It's really a plus point worth considering for small studios / teams & individuals, as you can get your game out faster & hopefully gain some insight into what people think about the game as well as an increase in motivation due to having finished & released something; even if it's only a chapter or two.

Well i don't know, i feel like this story should be in one piece, and it would be really short, i think some people don't like this, because they feel like they need to pay more even the price is split. I'm always thinking that i can do better, in the end i watch a lot of TV and so on.. maybe i will think about it, but for now i would like to make as one piece of game, would be great to know what people think, but on the other hand i like how we are creating something and we dont have a clue if this will be successful or not.

Yeah I guess it makes an interesting case study either way, whether you go down the feature length or episodic content path.

With episodic content I believe that you can get a good idea after the initial or first couple of episodes as to what people think of your game & whether or not you need to improve upon the game for the next episodes or whether or not to drop the project entirely & move onto another one.

With feature length games it's a bit more risky as you have no idea how it will be received until you get the the alpha / beta stage & provide your game to a few testers / blogs / game reviewers etc.
