Walking left and right not working...

    Hi there,

I was wondering if I could get a help with this strange bug. I've set up the scene with waypoints and wayborders, and my character is appearing. The character can walk up and down, but it can't walk left or right. Does any of the great troubleshooters on here know what this bug could be? There is space on the wayborder for it to move and the character is able to walk up and down it, but not sideways.

Awhile back, I updated visionaire and I had this exact issue and an admin helped me fix it, was some deep internal issue I believe. And I recently updated visionaire again so I'm guessing that would be the reason.

    Kind Regards,

    Nick

Are you using sliding walk animations or frame based walk animations? The latter being the one where you specify the distance the character should move on every single animation frame change?

Also without any screenshots of your way system & way path setup it's kind of hard to know what's going on with words alone.

    Hi afrlme,

Thanks for the reply! I am using frame based walk animations, and here's an image of the way system.

I believe it was Simon that helped me with this issue. He said last time this happened, the reset button for walk steps seems to not work and that he manually removed them from the ved file.

I would go through the animation frames for the directions that aren't working & make sure that none of the animation frames are set to 0. Are you also manually setting the pause/duration of each individual frame?

All of the animation frames are showing so I don't believe that's it. None of the frames have manual pause times either.

You said it's frame by frame, if you click on the footstep icon does it show the character moving along the line & movement points correctly in the animation preview viewport?

Would it be possible to @ Simon on this thread? I believe he's dealt with this issue before
