I know this is an old thread, but I think I understand the question (because I think I have the same one). How do I set it up so I can use an item from my inventory on a scene object. I know I can use the "Item dropped" execution type, but it is not working.
    Thanks

does the dropping not work or the "how to get an item dragged"?

Yes, the dropping does not work. I am able to drag the item, but when I have set up a simple action to perform when the object is dragged to a scene object, the item goes back to the inventory, and nothing happens.
    Thanks

Can you post some screen shots of how you have setup your inventory & item related stuff please?

It should make it much faster & easier to figure out why it's not working.

There is not anything special about the items or inventory. I pretty much followed the GlenFX tutorial on both, just without having the inventory show/hide.
    Thanks

    Good to know! wink

P.S: not all of the GlenFX tutorials are valid anymore. They may be partially valid, but you have to take in mind that they were written for a very early version of Visionaire Studio 3.x & VS has come a long way since.
