Take Character out of Scene

I have a scene where one of the NPCs is supposed to walk out of the screen.

When I use "Scroll to position" and set it to outside the screen the character walks further inside the screen, so it doesn't let the character "leave".

Can you tell me how I can accomplish this?

characters can only walk inside of the way borders, so try expanding the way borders at the exit points past the scene background image.

I would advise that during that scene you change the way system too

ofcourse set it back once the scene ends
