Sliders & Checkboxes :D

I think it would be useful to have sliders & checkboxes with options (mainly for options menu to be able to easily control various volume settings in percentage based on width of slider-rail & position of slider button, checkbox for mute, fullscreen, widescreen & so on)

Would be nice if it came as a standard part of V.S for us bloody ijuts that can't seem to figure out this LUA stuff due to lack of examples wink

Would it be possible to implement?

    Safe smile

check box would be easy and just uses conditions and two images for checked/unchecked Slider I have no idea, the zeppelin example has a turning combination lock but its not dragging a slider, it just uses conditions to display different images

yeah I know - I meant for the v.s team to think about integrating them as standard tool/device/option or whatever it would need to be so we can add/draw them onto a scene or interface & set what it does via it's options.

I think I can help you out with the sliders: http://www.visionaire-studio.net/shop/article/skript-demonst...

The description is in German, but a working ved example is included.

Checkboxes for screen resolution are difficult, because you need to read and write the config file from inside the game. I think the code that has been posted in the following thread does something like that (again in German only): http://www.visionaire-studio.net/forum/thread/config-ini/

cheers again in this thread too grin

I thought I was going to end up having to use the long & tiring method used in mmm game.

the ini one should be easily translatable seeing as it's only single names in german & they look like the proper german words? so should translate in google or babel easy enough.

I can't say anything about the conig.ini code. I haven't tried it, I just found the thread. So if it doesn't work, please don't complain to me, but to the guys that wrote the code... ;-)
