Scene Image Distorted When Loaded Into Visionarie

I'm having an issue when I attempt to load any PNG as a scene image. It's supposed to be colored but comes out all monochrome with lines through it. Here's what it looks like. Any suggestions?

If you edit your image in Photoshop, be sure to set the Image mode ("Mode") to RGB and "8bits/Channel". 16 or 32 bit won't be processed by Visionaire correctly.

There's bound to be some option for that in other image editing software like GIMP, but I don't know.

Normal LCD monitors can display 8-bit per color channel only (red = 0 to 255, green = 0 to 255 and blue = 0 to 255). Higher than 8-bit is only relevant for complex image processing and printing.
