rtf text files damaged

Hi! I want to export all the dialogue I've written to make it easier to record voice overs, but if I export them as .rtf files the files are corrupted and can't be opened. I'm running on MacOS Sequoia 15.5.

Has anyone had this before and is there a workaround?

What appliciation are you using to open them? Have you tried Google's Open Office, or any other rtf editor/viewer for that matter?
