    Ciao,
sorry if the question has already been made, but it is about one year that I do not frequent the forums!

So my question is if there is any change that Visionaire 4 will support PS4 - PS Vita - Xbox One too.

    Best
    Ale

We are actually waiting for devkits for these platforms, we tried the Xbox One Indie programm, that wasn't very successful. PS4 will maybe possible through Daedalic, I don't know though, if that applies to all users, if we get that working in this condition. Don't know what the licenses at Sony and MS say.

    Thanks for the info.
So Daedalic for Silence use Visionaire 4 and not Unity 3....

Er no they are using unity for whispered world 2. They are / were making Annie (I think it's called) with VS. I believe Simon is referring to them possibly porting previous games such as Deponia etc for PS4.

So the Visionaire Studio PS4 exporter is ready?

I have received a press released that announced that Deponia is available for PS4 smile

Yes, basically it's possible now to create games for PS4 and XBox One. Daedalic will release some of their games on these platforms in the next months.

Not ready for us. Simon kind of works for both Visionaire Studio & Daedalic as they pay for help with debugging & porting & in exchange (also because they purchase professional licenses for their games) they get to ask for new features to be added to VS, as well as first dibs on new updates & beta versions.

Though, they might also have hired a third party to port the game - like they have done in the past for some of the games they released for iOS.

    * edit: I see Thomas beat me to posting. I guess they haven't used a third party for porting. My bad! grin

Hi, everyone. I'd be really interested in the possibility to export to PS4, but are there any news about it? Has it been implemented in VS 5?

Are you a registered developer and own a devkit for any of these platforms? If yes, I can give you a version to try, but if not, you won't be able to do anything with that.

I am a developer, but I don't have a devkit yet- First I wanted to be sure Visionaire could be used to do that!

Some questions just to be sure I've got this clear:

1- In order to work on a porting for PS4 I need to contact Sony and ask for permission; if they give me permission, I'll receive a devkit which will integrate Visionaire. Is it right?

2- Talking about the porting itself: would it be a lot of work? I mean, the basic programming and structure of the game would still be valid or should I build it again from the beginning?
