on the main menu at the right hand side of the search bar are 2 images ...
1. messages (click this to access your messages)
2. friend requests (click this to accept/deny friend requests)
an orange symbol shows up over the icons when you have something new
Maybe Marvel & Calli could add a tab to the nav bar thing on the left which displays recent messages etc?
