Mouth animation using Rhubarb Lip Sync

  • #1, by daniel-wolf 8 years ago Zitieren

Hi! Until now, all discussion of Rhubarb has happened in the post about Visionaire Studio Bugfix Update 5.0.5, so I thought I’d create a new thread exclusively for Rhubarb.

Rhubarb Lip Sync is a free and open-source tool that automatically generates mouth animations from audio files. You can use it with a number of software packages, including Visionaire Studio. Here are some links:

I’ll update this thread whenever there is news that’s relevant for users of Visionaire Studio.

Please let me know what you think. I’m always happy to get feedback!

In regards to the tutorial I wrote, it appears to have magically disappeared from the wiki database - it's not even listed in the history. I will have to rewrite the tutorial again.

Cheers for creating a separate thread for Rhubarb. wink

I just released Rhubarb Lip Sync 1.8.0. As requested by sebastian, this release brings full support for Ogg Vorbis files. Rhubarb can now directly process .ogg files; you don't have to convert them to .wav any more!

Oh no, that's too bad! I remember that your tutorial was really good (and long)! :-(

Hi, I discovered this thread earlier, so thought I would give it a go...
Here is a quick comparison of what I was doing before, against this new method.

Still can't believe the results, so thanks to all involved.

Lip sync in Visionaire? Is this even Possible? :O Can't wait for the tutorial, great thanks for your help, AFRLme; many of us would be lost without your  effort. (at least I think so) I'll definetely support you on Patreon as soon as my financial situation will improve. smile

Sorry, there was a tutorial I wrote & shared on the wiki, but something happened & it somehow got completely erased, which means I have to write it all again & dig out the image files I created for it - the latter will be fun.
