    Done and sent!

I also sent it via WeTransfer, as I've had (almost never, but still) some delivery problems with files in the past with my company's email adres.

    Best regards,

    Fabian

Also happening to me. I am on Windows 10 Home 64 bit and Visionaire Studio 5.0.9. It crashes on save often. I have been finding missing parts in game but I thought I did something wrong or made a mistake.
Example: I find lines "If condition (empty) is true". Or, at some point, my Inventory stopped working and I couldn't find out why.

Yeah, that's the crash corrupting your save. I thought I did something wrong at first too, but then I replayed bits I succesfully played earlier, and suddenly they did not work at all.

I did find this in the crash dump file though, apparently Visionaire tries to access some location it has no access to?

    Here's the dump image.

Out of curiosity does any of your folder names contain special symbols? & also have you included a game/company name in the main game settings area of the VS editor & if so do either of those contain special symbols or accidental white space at the end of them? I don't know if any of the reasons I just said are the cause of your issues.

In regards to the dmp file, you really should send those to Simon as it will help him figure out why you are constantly crashing.

Thanks. I did have an exclamation mark in the title, but sadly, removing it did not fix the problem.

I have send the crash dump to the Visionaire studio team.

If you sent it on 9:12, you don't have the newest version. There is one from yesterday evening.

I didn't use any special symbols in the folder's names. And my game/company names are empty.  I just downloaded an update and I will see what will happen.

Just a thought, can an antivirus software be the cause of this?

So far, none of the updates have helped for me.

Personally, I am only using Windows Defender, as anti-virus.

    So far so good.

As the crash dump described that Visionaire was trying to access a location it did not have permission to, I decided to run Visionaire in Administrator mode.

    And so far, no crashes.

It's still a bit too early to tell, but using Administrator mode seems to work. I'll keep you updated.

Where is your project located? Windows 8 onwards is a bit iffy when it comes to write permissions in certain locations for some reason & requires administrator permission to be able to paste/write/overwrite things. I tend to work in a folder on my desktop or in a folder on my D (storage drive) where I installed dropbox.
