    No. Opening up a ved saved in 5.x in 4.x ends up with VS4 not loading the ved & displaying a load of errors. I could probably copy the interface & code over to a 4.x ved though.

    It's more or less the same, just the different editor sections are now accessed via the buttons on the top menu instead of vertically on the left side like in vs4. It might take you a couple of days to learn where everything is, but it's worth it for the new features & bug fixes.

    I hope you created a backup of your ved before opening it up in 5.x though as once you save it in 5.x it's no longer valid for 4.x.
