Character not appearing in parallax scene

Hi, really basic question here. I've experimented with a parallax scene, but I'm having problems with (a) the scene seeming to arbitrarily lock the view and (b) the character not appearing on the scene object.(Works fine for scenes with just a static background.)

I figure I'm missing some basic functions, any help much appreciated.

Quick question: why are you using Visionaire Studio 4.0 RC? We are now on v4.1 (stable) & the next version will either be 4.1.1 or 4.2, both of which have come a fair bit of distance since the RC version.

Those screenshots aren't really telling me much. For all I know it could be something you've done wrong/overlooked, or it could be some bug or issue with the RC version of VS 4.0.

I probably downloaded the demo some time ago and didn't check for updates. Eh, if there's nothing obvious about parallax scenes that 100% has to be don different to regular scenes, I'm sure I've blocked the flow somehow. Will rebuild the scene again and figure it out. Cheers.
