Changing the color of a bitmap font

  • #1, by ygmantell 11 years ago Zitieren
Can you change the color of a bitmap font inside Visionaire, or do I have to do it in photoshop and import it. I was hoping I could just copy the default one I made and then just change the color so I could use the same font in different colors for different characters.
    Thanks

sorry, this is not possible for bitmap fonts. You have to import the colored files separately

No, it's possible, create one font with the white bitmap, create another font linking to it and change the color.

You mean I can change the color within Vis.?

    Yep.

How exactly. I couldnt find any option to do so. I messed with the color options in the TTF font options, but that did not do anything.

Create a font with your bitmap.
Create another font, choose the bitmap font at ttf "font", change the color at ttf.
Use the another font your character.

ah cool. I cant find wnything documented about that feature. Datastructure in the wiki says also nothing about it...
    sorry for the misinformation

Yeah, that's not updated, it is a very new feature.

Cool! Thanks! So I can remove 70 % of my input bitmap fonts...
An other hidden and very useful feature!

PS: Activating ttf-font for changing the bitmap color is not intuitive...
