It should have the right Name when building your game (?)

EDIT: do you play it from the Editor to test or is your game already built?

After building the game. My project is under v 3.71

The name should be whatever you named the exported exe file, no? In 4.x you can actually use Lua script to update the window name, but I don't think that affects the taskbar as that should just be whatever the executable is named.

You could try Resource Hacker, which is a free program that allows you to edit executable files, such as various property values as well as change the icon for the executable.

well... in Resource Hacker / ResEdit I can change information like
    Version Info
    Manifest
Icon <- the only useful one
is there some other options? I rename everything and nothing worked...

I test export the game with the name THEGAMEQ
It is strange that in Processes tab it show as THEGAMEQ.exe
But the name Visionaire player in the taskbar stays.

I upload the game (it is the defaut template game, only 18mb) If someone want to try maybe Resource Hacker or something...I have no idea how to fix it

Can you please post some screenshots of your export options & the game tab (cog icon on left hand menu in visionaire studio)?

I've not used 3.7.1 in a long time & to be honest I didn't even use it all that much way back when as I quickly gained access to VS team builds not long after joining the forum / team, in other words I don't remember the behavior of 3.7.1, but I'm pretty sure the window title should be the name of the executable file by default.

I just downloaded a free game made in VS 4.2.5 that was shared on here a few weeks or so back & that is displaying the correct title.

Quick note #1: in 4.x you can update the title at will with Lua script, so Joe could have done that, but I doubt it.

Quick note #2: in the game tab (cog icon) you can input a company name & the game name, you could try adding a name to those fields if you haven't already done so, though I'm still pretty sure the displayed window name should be whatever the executable name is.

...and the "game name" is really filled in under the game options (cog icon)?
