I think it is a very cool way of doing a game, but I've always been a stop motion fan

^^. Stop motion is fun. However some times it sucks so hard. If I forget to shoot a particular object in a certain light, alla the scenes are separate pieces/walls and stuff, so I hate it when I have to build it all over again.

Yes I can imagine its a "labour of love"
You get it with 3D as well, its not so bad in static scene but a panoramic view using 6 images is a nightmare, if you change a light you have to re render everything, sometimes a shiny material can cause problems, then there's shadows, well you'll know yourself if you open a door the entire room changes, you can;t just crop out the door animation

Yeah, "labour of love" might be a bit to romantic. More like "labour of love and death and some decent amount of anxiety". ^^.
