Windows user as well I take it? My pc blue screened the other day, then this afternoon I found out I've been suffering from a major memory leak caused by some network driver for a while. Ah, the joys of being a windows/pc user...

I was talking about this script. It's easy to use. Go to the script section of Visionaire Studio & create a new script. Copy/paste the main script on the page I linked. You don't need to do edit it or anything.

For replacing an item with another item, just check the screenshots in my last post as you can see an example in one of the screenshots. Item names are whatever you name the items you created in the item section of the editor. Names are case sensitive.

I still done that and, finally, it works wink

But now I don't know what to do because of this transparent picture is staying...

    EDIT :
The problem with the last screenshot is I don't have "left click" available...

left_click is the name of my command. I use a single command system. I named the command "left_click". Just set it to whatever command you are wanting to use for setting the inventory item to hand.

    It doesn't work !!! I don't know what...

So... At this point, I think that the procedure to deal with a single item is much too complicated: If every time I want to install an item in the inventory it takes time like this, I will get discouraged and I'll give up my game project .. Afterwards, I wonder if I wouldn't have gained more time (exactly 3 days) to graphically adapt my interface (especially the inventory) for the basic dragndrop system.

However I still wish to know your method, but for the moment it's no longer a priority.
I go back to graphics... and for the scripting and this solution etc.. it take the time it will take.

Thank you very much (again) Esmeralda, Sebastian an AFRLme for your replies !!

Well, aye... it's always best to work on the bits you can do first. Over time you will likely start figuring out how to use various different features of the engine yourself & will then be able to come up with your own solutions/workarounds. It's mostly about perseverence - & logic - anyway. Do what you can, leave the more complicated parts of your game until later on & just keep at it! wink

Thank you for you support !!
I think I will come back on this "big" part thereafter, when I knew the software a little better...

After all, I started just a week ago it is normal for me to have problems with this kind of process. ^^

Anyway, if i refer to my story, I will have to use this method at one point...
