Weird start for character, waypoint and cursor

Okay there's a few weird problems testing my game for the first time.

    1. My character comes from the top and somehow doesn't start in or is inside the way system and starting point that I assign the character too
    2. My mouse is really odd. When I click an area I want the character to go to, it sometimes doesn't work and somehow it leads them to go on another area

Also ignore the inventory thing, I know it's smaller than the screen.

Here is a little video of the weird issues I'm having.

looks like your characters center and mouse center is not set.
Do you see a crosshair in your characters outfit animations which define the standpoint if the char?
The mouse cursir should also have a Center (crosshair) set, so that the engine knowa where your click point is

    A'llo,

    Couple of quick questions...

    1. have you assigned an animation center for each of your characters animations? This determines which part of the character sprite will move to the destination position you set when clicking the left mouse button somewhere in a scene. The typical place to set the animation center is somewhere near & inbetween the feet of your characters. The animation center ideally should be the same position for each animation associated with the character.

    2. have you set the animation center for the mouse? Typically this would be set on the tip of the cursor & should be the same position for both the active & inactive cursor. The animation center of mouse cursor is what is used to draw the cursor where the mouse cursor should be on your windows/mac machine.

P.S: having incorrect animation centers means your cursors & characters etc are not being drawing in the position you want them to be drawn at, which means your character is offset from the position you have specified or the mouse cursor is offset from the position of your system cursor.

    no smile
you just need to set your characters/mouse center point to let the engine know where the feet or clicking point is. To set it, just do as AFRLme said and check out his first screenshot. The third icon from the right (2x2 white boxes/crosshair in a box) is needed to set this point inside EACH if your characters/cursors animation
