Visionaire development flexibility

    Hey guys,

How would you consider Visionaire in terms of flexibility compared to LUA frameworks like Moai?

We are both developers here (although not skilled in LUA..yet) and we are wondering if Visionare can easily extend, since it is supported by LUA.

Are any constraints that we should consider before we start doing the actual build?

I am asking this since I know this tool is also aimed for non programmers.

Thanks in advance and thank you for such an amazing tool.

could you elaborate in a bit more detail please?
constraints like what? extend to what? etc...

Yeah Visionaire Studio is geared mostly towards artists/visual designers who know next to nothing or nothing at all about programming/coding as it is technically possible to create a game of commercial calibre alone (graphics is up to the artist of course) via the editor & the built in action parts & query options, without having to type a single line of code.

But we also have the built in text editor for people who know how to program/code in which you can create your own custom Lua Scripts, create scripts based around the VS exclusive lua functions or import/link to external scripts.

According to Divo, you could technically even import libs from C if you wanted... according to him, that is.77
