Several questions: character with gamepad + shader with texts + 3d environment + camera

    No sorry mate, I have no idea how the 3D side of the engine works. I'm guessing it's all about positioning & what you set in your 3D program as well. You would need to make it so that the world position is always below the character.

    The scale & all that stuff, I have zero clue about at all. Nige or AkcayKaraazmak (not seen him online in ages though) would probably know how to sort it all out.

    For the moment I'm stuck with my project without clue to solve these things.
    Or I could continue to do a very standard adventure game, but there are several things I wanted to try.

    Simon was going to re do the camera so it used 3D space, I think right now it only tilts and zooms which could be why its impossible to scale things properly

    I baked the shadow to the image so it was easier place the model

    I don't think you could do something like a geo sphere, if you could you'd also need a shader to make the shading constant

    If you talk of playing my game tonight, of course you are welcome to try it, but you won't find what I was asking before: that's new things that I would like to add in order to improve the gameplay in the next updates.

    I hope you had fun then ^^

    Anyway it would seem that I can't do what I wanted (character in a sphere, nice keyboard gameplay, etc), so in the end I will probably have to give up with this idea for the moment, until the next update(s) of VS...

    It's a shame, I have good ideas of projects and motivation, but I always end stuck because of my lack of knowledge in game engines.

    I will simply continue my game TWOTIO (the one I made during Adventure Jam) as initially planned (that is to say a classical point and click adventure), I think there is already a good potential.
