Schrifterkennung

Hallo zusammen!
Ich weiß das dieses Thema oft genug druchgekaut wurde aber als absoluter Neuling versteh ich es leider trotzdem nicht.
Ich habe von einem Tutorial für eine Schriftart ein PNG genommen und leider erkennt Visionaire die Buchstaben nicht.
Die Buchstabenreihe ist korrekt und ob ich ein PNG nehme wo der Hintergrund bereits Transparent ist oder ich in Visionaire selbst den Hintergrund transparent mache ist egal. Er erkennt die Buchstaben einfach nicht.
Ich habe auch mal das PNG von dem Demogame genommen, dass dann sogar funktioniert. (weshalb auch immer)
Bloß leider ist die Schrift dann viel zu groß im Spiel und ich will ja die andere Schriftart haben.

P.s.: Beim erstellen konnte ich nicht auf Deutsch klicken. Er sagt dann immer ich solle eine Spreche auswählen.

You can use TTF / OTF fonts in Visionaire Studio 4.x, you know.

Check out http://dafont.com, as there are loads of free fonts available that can be used for commercial & non-commercial purposes of varying styles.

I also really recommend checking out tackorama, as it has an excellent selection of free fonts, although not all are free to use commercially; some are for personal use only & some are for non-commercial projects (under cc licenses etc).

Okay, but what can i Do if i want to use exactly this Font?

I dont want to create my own font. I want only this one.

Ooh right you are then. By the way, the font in the template is just arial it's included in the fonts folder in windows. All you have to do to use it as a TTF font is copy / paste the arial.ttf file somewhere into your projects folder & add it as a font inside of the VS editor & then you can adjust size, border, shadow & font color as you like, without having to worry about getting size, color & everything correct & lined up in the font template.

If you really must (for whatever reason) use the font image in that template then all you should have to do is export it as an 8bit RGB png file with transparent background.

You do have to make sure you get the character set (alphabet) section in the editor correct otherwise your displayed text in game may be incorrect.
