    hello,
this is my first contribution to the forum so please forgive any errors. also english is not my mother-tongue.
first of all: i love the software. thank you for making it so easy to create adventure games.
now to my problem. i have read and searched the forums, but there doesnt seem to be an answer for me.
in a scene i have two characters and certain objects with object-centers. now i want one of the characters to ignore object-centers. is this possible? i know it is possible to change object centers, but is it possible to make one character ignore them while the other still "obeys". i want one of them to stay in front of a tree and one of them behind a tree, although they are both on the same y-height.
thanks for any tipps. i am still a beginner, so maybe there is an easy solution for this i havent thought of.

Just move one of the characters so it is below the tree object center so that it walks in front of the tree.

You could also if this is just for this scene create the npc with an offset animation center (lower or higher than the npc feet).

thank you for the hint. i tried it with an offset animation-center, but due to the waysystem the character cant move to these positions.
